Martin Bergstrand started a PhD training program with the Pharmacometric research group in Uppsala University, Sweden in 2006. Before starting his PhD training Martin received a Master of Science Degree in Biomedicine from Kalmar University, Sweden and was employed as clinical pharmacokineticist at AstraZeneca R&D, Mölndal. The main focus of his research is applied mechanistic PK and PK-PD modelling as well as methodology aspects around data censoring.
