Don Berk is a communications consultant with an outstanding track record coaching, writing, consulting, and implementing spoken, graphic, and multimedia communication strategies for world-class companies in pharmaceutical, information technology, health, consumer packaged goods, publishing, and other industries. He also leads communication seminars and workshops, and coaches speakers and other public figures. Don is often called on to facilitate groups, bringing people together to work toward a common goal regardless of their individual agendas. Don honed these skills as founder, writer, producer, and director of his own video production companies where he created tapes to market initial public offerings for such companies as Amgen and limited partnerships for such companies as Centocor and Genzyme. He applied these abilities during seven years as creative director at Gartner, the world's leading IT research and advisory company, and during stints directing communications with Bristol-Myers Squibb and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Don is currently consulting with Dynasil Corporation. Outside work, Don is a councilperson for the borough of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and chairs its Energy and Environment Committee. Don is a committed fund raiser for various causes, a ride leader with the Central Bucks Bicycle Club, and an activist with the Bucks County Sierra Club. He received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and his M.A. in painting and video from New York University.
