Pravin R. Jadhav received his bachelor of pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree in May 1999 from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy affiliated with Pune University, India. He received his master of pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degree in December 2000 from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. He earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Medical college of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University (May 2006). Dr. Jadhav worked on his graduate research at the Office of Clinical Pharmacology (OCP) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) starting June 2003. He joined as a pharmacometrics reviewer in 2006. During this period, he has worked on aspects of exposure-response to aid in important regulatory decisions ranging from drug-drug interactions, dose adjustment in special populations, evidence of effectiveness, benefit/risk and labeling issues. He has several publications and presentations at national conferences. He has received several awards and honors during his tenure at the FDA as well as graduate career including the best graduate student of the year award in 2003.
