France Mentré is Professor of Biostatistics at the Medical School of University Denis Diderot (Paris, France). She heads an INSERM research team on Biostatistical Modelling and Pharmacometrics. She has been working on development and application of methods for nonlinear mixed-effects models in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for more than 20 years. She is involved in the development of PFIM (software for optimal design in population analysis) and MONOLIX (software implementing the SAEM algorithm for estimation in population analyses).
