Transportation from the airport to the conference hotels

From Tucson International Airport:

Regardless of how you plan to travel to your hotel from the Tucson airport, we recommend that all ACoP participants go first to the Arizona Stagecoach counter at the Tucson airport as a central meeting location for ride-sharing.

Arizona Stagecoach

We have arranged a conference discount on the Arizona Stagecoach, a shuttle service which goes from Tucson Airport directly to the conference hotels.

Tickets may be purchased at the Arizona Stagecoach counter at the airport (open 24 hours a day) without a reservation. However, if you do wish you make a reservation, you may do it online at http://www.azstagecoach.com/group.html or by calling toll free: 877/782-4355 or 520/889-1000. You must use the Group ID to get the special conference rate.

Please note that non-US credit cards may not be used on the phone or online, but they do accept all credit cards at the counter at the airport.

We suggest that if you are traveling with a colleague or family member that you reserve the shuttle together for a substantial discount per person. Alternately, if you are traveling solo, you may also consider waiting by the Arizona Stagecoach counter for another ACoP participant and splitting the cost for a 2-person reservation!

Taxi

The taxi rate to the conference hotel is approximately $40 and a car can accommodate 3-4 persons. There will be many taxis at the airport but you may also call one upon arrival: Yellow Cab 520/624-6611, Allstate Cabs 520/881-2227, AAA Cabs: 520/207-4790.

From Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:

Arizona Shuttle

The Arizona Shuttle (http://www.arizonashuttle.com/) takes passengers directly from the Phoenix airport to various locations in Tucson, including one approximately 6 miles from the hotels. Rates are about $30 each way and shuttles leave hourly.

Please select the INA location for the drop-off point when making your reservations online.

From the drop-off point, you should take a taxi to your hotel. The staff at the drop-off point will call a taxi for you on request.
